At Ireby, we are dedicated to creating a loving community for all, where all are celebrated as unique individuals and where passions and talents can flourish.

Our MFL provision supports our children's academic, social and spiritual development through studying a rich languages curriculum. Lerning French also teaches our children dignity and respect through experiencing our world, meeting people, and learning all about their language, culture and traditions.

Research shows that learning a second language from an early age support our vision by boosting problem-solving, critical-thinking, and listening skills, in addition to improving memory, concentration, and the ability to multitask. Children proficient in other languages also show signs of enhanced creativity and mental flexibility.

It also links us as global citizens and immerses us in other cultures and supports our Christian vision, 'Created to do good' Ephesians 2:10.

At Ireby, we teach French in Key Stage 2.
